San Diego County to Receive $13.1 Million in Funding

May 29, 2015

The California Department of Education announced this week that it is awarding $13.1 million in funding to San Diego County for programs that “blend academic and career technical education, connect employers with schools, and train students for jobs in high-demand fields, such as health care, advanced manufacturing, information technology, and software development.” A huge congratulations is in order for the organizations that worked so hard to generate an outstanding proposal. Many of the beneficiaries of the grant are our partners in supporting the growth of Linked Learning in San Diego County and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them.
